I
thought I'd take the time to give you "official" feedback
on your Fat Fighters
program you got me involved in. First of all THANKS! Your seminar
was very straightforward and easy to understand. You also helped
me personalize my routine for what I needed. I've shared some
of my results with you along the way but the measurement taking
yesterday really sealed the success in my mind.
I
went back to the chart we used to measure when I started and saw
what my goals were. Here's my summary:
In
5 weeks: I lost 7 lbs!
Hips:
lost 2.5 inches
Waist
: lost 2 inches
Action
Goals:
lower
body: leg weights 3 days per week
cardio 5 days per wk
implement new nutritional plan: less simple carbs, more
protein and good fats
What I did:
food journal for first 2-3 weeks to watch and help
reinforce the changes
revamped my whole dietary intake, realized
my carbohydrate load was huge, craved them for first 2 weeks then
stabilized, had to learn to eat more protein
Done reasonably well on the dietary change.
Still have some excursions but feel good about the changes. Excited
about cooking again, and am very committed to the change !
yoga 2 times per week
run, elliptical, or bike 2-3 days per week
lift weights 2-3 days per week, focusing on lower body
one of these weeks I traveled to Spain for business and still
maintained - whew!
I
made several changes in my health and fitness routine over the
last 2 years, but this dietary change and modification of exercise
really allowed me to reach a new level of fitness and great feeling
about my body and health. Three years ago, I was a size
14, weighed 160 pounds and didn't feel very attractive or healthy.
Now my size 6's are baggy! The only problem is I have
to keep buying new clothes - ha!
I
especially love the yoga and will forever remember you as a motivating
instructor that got me going here. I'm always selling yoga to
everyone I come into contact with. Thank you for all you've done
to help me here - from the challenges to the celebrations.
This
probably got a little sappy but I think it's important for you
to know that you made such a difference in my health, fitness,
sense of well-being and life!
